Biography:

Dianne Fogwell’s practice is centred on printmaking, painting and artist’s books. She has held many solo exhibitions and is an invited artist for exhibitions nationally and internationally, including the 1st Seoul International Artist Book Fair in South Korea and recently 6th Guanlan International Printmaking Biennial, Shenzhen, China.  Dianne was the  invited international judge for the 6th Bharat Bhavan International Biennial of Print’, Roopankar, Bhopal, India.  Dianne has made a major contribution to the Read more...Australian arts community through her art practice, teaching, curating and establishing press and print studios.  Her work is represented in public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, National Library of Australia, Artbank, Australian War Memorial, Canberra Museum and Gallery, State Library of Victoria, Australian National Library, Art Institute of Chicago (USA),  Krakow International Print Triennial Society, Poland, The Ruth and Marvin Sackner Archive of Concrete and Visual Poetry, Miami USA. Dianne’s calls her linocuts an “Alphabet of images”, her repertoire of familiar things to illuminate parts of the landscape that usually go unnoticed in our daily lives.
