Striving to connect the realms of micro and macro, representation and abstraction, Annika Romeyn draws inspiration from rock formations as markers of elemental power and dynamism. Annika lives in Canberra, Australia and creates her work at the Australian National Capital Artists studios and Megalo Print Studio. Annika completed Honours (First Class) in Printmedia and Drawing at the Australian National University (2010). Annika has received awards including the Embassy of Spain Torres Travelling Scholarship (2010), The Read more... Port Jackson Press Graduate Printmaking Award (2011), Australia Council for the Arts ArtStart Grant (2012) and the Flinders Lane Gallery Exploration Award (2014). Annika is represented by Flinders Lane Gallery, Melbourne.
