Paule Lamarche lives and works in Montreal, Canada. As a member of Atelier Circulaire, her preferred techniques are serigraphy and lithography. She studied printmaking and holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She obtained grants from the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec and she did an artist residency at Atelier Imago in Moncton, New Brunswick. She counts many solo and collective exhibitions and her work is part of public and private collections. The subj Read more...ect of her prints explores the environment through sceneries, firstly photographed in situ, then reconstructed into new landscapes. Although part of her work is built from a reality taken by the camera, the artist intervenes in the image adding elements which, like a puzzle, will mesh together giving the observer the opportunity to view the world through the artist's eyes.
