Biography:

Deborah Cornell has had recent solo exhibitions at Zayed University Dubai UAE; Sabanci University, Istanbul; Monash University, Melbourne; University of Dundee, Scotland; Los Angles Center for Digital Art; Hafnarfjorder Museum, Iceland; Kala Institute, San Francisco; and Maine Museum of Art. Her work has been selected for over 100 group exhibitions in the US and abroad, including the Krakow Triennial, Novosibirsk Biennial Russia, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Cornell's awards include the Grand Prix from t Read more...he 2015 Krakow Print Triennial for her recent installation, the Grand Prix D'Honneur for her innovative approach to the discipline, a Bunting Fellowship from Harvard, Grand Prize in the LA Center for Digital Art, and support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Deya Majorca Archeological Foundation. Artist residencies include ProyectoACE Buenos Aires and the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice. Cornell is Chair of Printmaking at Boston University in the USA.
