Eva-Maria Raab (born 1983) is an Austrian artist based in Vienna and Lower Austria. She graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (2010) and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (2007). Since 2015 she mainly works with cyanotypes and cameraless photography and focuses on the question of time, space and light. She is currently experimenting with her “live prints” of grain fields and vineyards. Raab’s work has been shown in numerous exhibitions throughout Austria, Switzerland (Photobastei Zu Read more...rich), Sweden, France, Australia (RMIT School of Art Gallery) or Germany (Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen). In 2014 she received the Culture Award of Lower Austria in the category Media art. Eva-Maria Raab’s work is presented in several notable public and private collections including: The Graphic Collection of the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, The Swiss Foundation for Photography, Winterthur or The Austrian Federal Ministry of Arts.
