Biography:

Irene di Oriente was born in Licata on May 28th 1995. She attended the art school of Treviso and then graduated, in October 2018, with 110 out of 110 and honors at the three-year course in Art Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where it is currently registered at the magistral address, again in Graphic Art. In 2012 he exhibited with the high school at the galleries of Piedicastello in Trento and in the village. In July 2018 she was selected to exhibit in an exhibition entitled "High Density", through the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, at Magazzini del Sale 3, Venice. Also in July 2018, she was awarded in Jonzac, France, in the category of emerging young talent in the "Volare" theme illustration competition, the thirteenth Biennale Humor et Vigne and in the same period she was selected in Tokyo for the "Wonderful? World Cartoon ". In December 2018 he took part in the collective exhibition "Women and Sport" at Palazzo dei Trecento (Treviso) and was selected for the Third International Miniprint Biennial in Laguna Paiva (Argentina). In 2019 she participated in the Miniprint Exchange exhibition in Paese (Treviso) and in Arcugnano di Vicenza, in the exhibition "Books from Books". In May 2019 she exhibited at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, the illustration for the book "Mai più qui.La forza di ricominciare ”published by the Associazione Venezia pesce di Pace, for which it collaborated on another project to be held in Marghera entitled" 21 Artists for Forte Marghera ". She is one of the illustrators of the Collettivo BaldoBranco with whom she exhibited in various exhibitions collective and has participated in numerous festivals in Italy and abroad. She was assistant of the illustration course for teacher Marilena Nardi at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice in the year 2017/2018 and is reconfirmed for the year 2018/2019. Since 2013 she has been working as a volunteer at the Treviso Comic Book Festival and joins the board in 2017.
