Biography:

A painter and printmaker, who uses printmaking techniques to explore themes in her work on paper. Her education began in Boston where she founded an experimental printmaking studio focused on monoprint printmaking called Artist Proof Cooperative Print Studio with fellow artists seeking to explore more painterly approaches to printmaking. She was awarded two traveling fellowships and an NEA (National Endowment for the Arts) award for young artists for prints made during this period. Graduate studies brought her to Los Read more...Angeles at UCLA where she focused on painting, but returned to printmaking in 2000 with her participation in several exhibitions honoring the influence of Artist Proof in Boston. In recent years she has focused on curating projects that include exhibitions on influential artists in the history of printmaking in Los Angeles and collaborative traveling print exchanges such as the “ImMigration Project” and “Paper Boats”.
