Susanna Doccioli was born in Rome in 1983. In 1999 she attended Comic’s International School of Rome, graduated at Liceo Artistico in Via di Ripetta in 2002 and enrolled in the Scenography course of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
She will leave the Academy to move to Urbino where she graduated full marks in February 2008 at I.S.I.A in Editorial Graphics and Visual Communication.
It’s in Urbino in 2004 that she discovers the engraving at the K.a.u.s. lab, a passion she also pursues at the Bethanien labora Read more...tory in Berlin and the Stamperia del Tevere in Rome, where she continues to experiment and collaborate from 2010 and where she is now active as partner and xylography teacher and basic engraving techniques in this historical site that since 2018 is home to the new Stamperia Ripa 69 Association.
In her bag of work experience there is the teaching of drawing and of various artistic disciplines, xylography, organization and realization of art and printmaking workshops for children and adults, the care of exhibitions and events related to the field of visual arts.
She has worked as a freelance graphic artist for numerous clients, at present, she alternate teaching experiences, graphics and illustrator work. Her graphic work has been in various public and private exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including “ La___Linea 10 - opere grafiche” Collective Exhibition of engraving and graphics for the for the tenth anniversary of the Gallery Rome 2019,  "SO FERN SO NAH - così lontano così vicino" to the collective of engraving, sculpture, photography at the Im Burggarten Gallery in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (GER) July 2018,  "IMPRONTE ROMANE" new directorates of the press, Temple University, Rome, May 2018, "International Contemporary Printmaking", Luxembourg April 2018...
