Biography:

Toos van Holstein (1949), Dutch Brilliant Artist in 2016, studied art and art history at the Academy in Tilburg, where she received her diploma in 1978. She taught aesthetics from 1970 to 1990. In 1983 she had her first exhibition of oil paintings. Since then, she has exhibited oil-paintings, water-colours, stone lithographs, mixed media digicompo’s on aludibond and statues in bronze and neolith at a number of well-known galleries and art fairs in the Netherlands and other countries. She was also artist in residence in Beijing.
