Yvan LaFontaine Born on November 8, 1943, in Sherbrooke, Canada. Lives and works in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Printmaker, painter, computer graphics artist. A graduate of the École des beaux-arts de Montréal, Yvan LaFontaine also holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from UQAM, where he majored in creation. He also furthered his training in lithography at the Centre de gravure contemporain in Geneva.
