Cristina Zañartu was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1963, where she currently lives and works. Painter and printmaker, she has painting and drawing studies during 1996-2008 in different workshops at Universidad de Concepción. Since 2012 she is a member of Taller 99 and from 2019 is part of the board of Corporación Cultural Taller 99. She participe actively in colective and individual exhibitions in Chile and abroad.
