Gabriella Boros was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1961 to parents that survived the Holocaust. The family immigrated to the United States where Gabriella attended and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Art in 1983. After painting in oil and acrylic for years, Gabriella started her woodblock prints after a trip to Italy in 2012. She continues to delve into narratives through her multi-print series. Her topics often include botany, sciences, Judaism and feminist references.
