Manuela Simoncelli was born in Australia in 1959 from italian parents, where she lived her first years of life before moving to Italy. She studied art in Bologna and Florence. Here, she approached with graphic and chalcography, immediately participating in some exhibitions. As an illustrator, she published several books for children. She received the first prize "Premio Cento"(Ferrara) in 2011. She held exhibitions in Italy and abroad: one of his Pinocchio has travelled the world, from China to Brazil, invited by the Read more...International School of Sarmede. Painter, creator of dreamlike poetic images, she recently participated in various personal and collective exhibitions: S. Eufemia Gallery in Giudecca (Venice) exhibits her works. She participated at the BGC Biennale Contemporanea Diego Donati 2020 Award. She is joining the next Biennial Douro (Portugal) in 2021 and 2022. Her works have been selected for the International Print Biennial Varna (Bulgaria), which will take place in August 2021.
