Suzie Smith is an artist based in Winnipeg, Canada who works with printmaking and design that expands into sculpture, installation and moving image. Her work often incorporates the deconstruction and transformation of objects and materials to create new or multiple meanings. She received a BFA from Concordia University (Montréal) in 2004 and an MFA from the Glasgow School of Art (Glasgow, Scotland) in 2011. In addition to her own practice, Smith is an Assistant Professor of Print Media at the University of Manitoba and is a founding member of Parameter Press.
