Melanie’s work focuses on urban and industrialised landscapes. Her drawings and prints explore scenes of derelict and decaying buildings from our industrial past, well-known buildings of our time, and new buildings under construction. She works from observation, drawing on site and then develops her drawings into compelling and atmospheric etchings.
