Biography:

Ângela Barbour, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Visual artist and curator, PHD in Visual Arts,  IAPMA Exhibitions Coordinator, CEO and Fabricademy Instructor at Ellora Ateliê, the Fabricademy Node in Brazil.  As a multidisciplinary artist, Ângela has shown her artwork in more than fifteen countries in four continents, acting in performance, installation, engraving, photography and new technologies specially applied to paper art.  Brazilian Coordinator of the Paper Art, Bulgaria / Brazil Interchange Art Project. Curator of Read more... the two first editions of the Bienal del Sur, Pueblos en Resistencia, Caracas. Concept and implanted the Espaço Cultural Porto Seguro as Executive Director. Directed the Marta Traba Gallery from Latin American Memorial Foundation, for 16 years, where she has organized more than 150 art exhibitions, being curator of many of them. Founded the MemoFabLab, the first public and free FabLab in Brazil as well as the Atelie of Graphic Experimentation in the Galery. One of the idealizer of the Open Sky Project, focused on the Attention of the Impaired People. Having one of her works in this field, with special paper and Tactile images, being incorporated to Louvre Museum as an Artwork.
