Carolina Korber was born in Mexico City, is a Master of Visual Arts at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, has participated in 80 group exhibitions and 8 individual ones, her graphic work has received awards and distinctions among which stand out: the Unique Prize of Acquisition of the Third National Biennial of Painting and Engraving Alfredo Zalce (2001), Honorable Mention in the stamp area of ​​the Ninth National Biennial Diego Rivera (2001), Acquisition Award of the VIII National Engraving Contest Jos Continuar a ler...é Guadalupe Posada (2000), Acquisition Award of the III Annual Miniestampa Competition (1990) and the Young Creators Grant awarded by the FONCA in the 1999-2000 and 1994-1995 issues. In 2001-2 Contemporary Graphic Production Project of San Luis Potosí, awarded by Fundación Cultural Bancomer. He has given workshops and courses of specialization in engraving in different Mexican institutions.
