Biography:

Karin Byrne, a Tyrolean artist, has occupied herself since 2004 increasingly with conventional print techniques, among others etchings and aquatint on zinc and copper plates. Using an etching needle, she spontaneously creates shapes with plant-like, non-geometrical character on the metal surface. An initial state proof is printed to assess the balance of the composition.
